1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels, SDKs — do much the same job, and this policy covers those too.

2. What insidoor.com uses today

This website sets no analytics or advertising cookies, and fonts are served from our own domain rather than a third party, so loading a page does not tell anyone else you were here.

We use cookies for sign-in, your chosen language and permission to edit a newly submitted request. We also keep preferences and unfinished form drafts on your device.

3. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site and the portals to work. These do not require consent, and you cannot switch them off without breaking the service. In full, they are:

• NEXT_LOCALE — the language you picked in the footer switcher. Set only if you use it. Lifetime: one year.
• staff_auth — keeps a member of the Insidoor team signed in to the admin. Set only after signing in. Lifetime: up to two weeks.
• insidoor_auth — keeps an Insider signed in to their portal. Set only after signing in. Lifetime: up to four weeks.
• request_edit_[request ID] — permits the browser that submitted a relocation request to edit its brief while the request is still New. HTTP-only and limited to the intake page. Lifetime: 24 hours.

Sign-in and request-edit cookies are issued by us, are HTTP-only so no script can read them, and are sent only over HTTPS.

Browser storage

Local storage remembers your theme, portal sidebar preference, checklist progress and unfinished intake, application or onboarding forms. Form drafts are removed after successful submission; other preferences remain until cleared. Session storage can remember that you postponed onboarding until you close the tab. You can remove this data in your browser’s site settings.

Analytics

We set none. There is no analytics, tag manager or advertising script on this site, so there is no analytics cookie to consent to and no consent banner to show you. If that changes we will update this page first and ask before setting anything.

Marketing

We set none, for the same reason.

4. How to control cookies

There is nothing optional to switch off today, because we set nothing optional. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this per site. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the signed-in platform from working.

5. Changes

When we add a provider, it appears here before it is switched on, and the date at the top changes. See also our privacy policy.
